May 2018 - GDPR

May 09, 2018

NHS England is updating its guidance on the Friends and Family Test, saying: "The good news is that the impact is likely to be minimal. If you don't use patient data in gathering FFT feedback and operate a fully anonymous process...there is unlikely to be any impact at all".

If patients' details are needed in order to contact them for feedback, organisations need to ensure that they comply. Although "it is likely this can be managed through your wider processes for use of patient data."

Note that CFEP is GDPR-compliant and can be relied upon to administer patient questionnaires for the FFT and most other critical feedback.
